brandi & seth’s dream summer wedding

This was a deeply personal project: my own wedding invitation suite and day-of stationery, designed for our June 2024 celebration.

As a designer, I approached it with both creative intention and emotional investment, curating every detail of the guest experience from save the dates to the littlest day-of details.

The suite (along with the entire day) was photographed by Ephemia Maria Photography. She truly captured and preserved the feeling of our day in every last image.

the concept

Like many brides, I was planning my wedding before even getting engaged. I had extensive Pinterest boards and screenshots filling up my camera roll. My Instagram bookmarks looked crazy. The vision didn’t really come together until my now-husband proposed and we picked a date: our dating anniversary. Everything fell into place effortlessly.

Because I was both the designer and the client, the process became an exercise in editing, restraint, and refinement. Every design was a true labor of love, and I learned so much along the way.

The color palette centered around lavender and sage green— our favorite colors— paired with linen cardstock, an envelope liner featuring an illustration of our venue, and matching purple envelopes.

The core invitation suite included multiple layered pieces:

  • Main invitation card

  • Skinny details card

  • Double-sided square RSVP card (digital response on one side, mail-in on the other)

  • Additional informational cards for select guests:

    • Rehearsal dinner details

    • Pre-ceremony photography schedule

    • After-party invitation

The suite was not only beautiful, but functional and thoughtful.

The design system extended seamlessly into our wedding day, including:

  • Ceremony programs

  • Menus

  • Seating chart

  • Place cards

  • Welcome signage, including a custom floral box installation

  • Custom matchbook favors for guests

Every piece was designed to feel like part of a single visual language— reinforcing the tone we set from the start with our save the dates.
