project spotlight

fitzner productions

Fitzner Productions is a New England video production company specializing in both wedding cinematography and corporate/commercial work.

The goal of this project was to create a brand and website that could confidently hold both sides of the business— balancing emotional storytelling with professional, commercial credibility.

branding & identity

The brand was designed to be bold yet simple— letting typography and structure do most of the work.

At the center of the identity is a clean, modern wordmark paired with a subtle red dot accent, a nod to filmmaking and recording cues. This small detail became a signature element throughout the system, reinforcing the production-focused nature of the brand without overpowering it.

Key brand elements included:

  • Primary logo with strong typographic hierarchy

  • Supporting logo variations

  • Brand system and usage guidelines

  • Business card design

The overall visual direction leans into black and red, creating a cinematic, high-contrast aesthetic that feels both modern and professional.

website design

The website was designed to showcase a dual-focus portfolio— weddings and commercial work— without overwhelming the user or slowing performance. The goal was to present range and depth in a structured, intentional way.

To achieve this, I developed a content strategy that prioritized both storytelling and efficiency:

  • A dynamic homepage featuring a short hero GIF composed of select project clips

  • Supporting still imagery to highlight additional work without heavy load times

  • Dedicated pages for weddings and commercial projects with featured case studies

  • Embedded videos paired with contextual storytelling and external links for expanded viewing

  • A streamlined about page and clear contact page for inquiries

  • A video journal area, allowing the client to easily publish new work moving forward

The site was designed to be responsive, SEO-conscious, and structured for long-term growth.

the result

This project involved a high level of collaboration and education throughout the process. We spent time refining direction, reviewing options, and ensuring the client felt confident in every decision.

A key part of the process was translating creative strategy into something the client could understand and maintain long-term. This included walkthroughs, explanations, and post-launch support resources.

The final brand and website successfully elevated the client’s online presence into a cohesive, professional system that reflects the quality and range of their work. It presents a clear narrative while remaining flexible enough to grow with the business.
